Scot Meholick is celebrating 42 years of service with us this year. Needless to say, he has seen a lot.

As our veteran commercial sales representative, he is on the road every day, attending to the needs of existing commercial customers and visiting other businesses in our service area that have heard about us through word of mouth.

“I’m proud that I never missed a day at work during the pandemic. My customers really needed me then to get through that difficult time,” he says.

Scot says, during his travels, he sometimes interacts with third- or even fourth-generation folks from
businesses who have been longtime Shortway commercial customers.

He helps his customers with a variety of needs, from gas and diesel fleet fueling, oils, lubricants, filters, hydraulic hoses, and more.

When he’s not working, Scot, who is married and the father of two adult children, enjoys spending his “spare” time bowling a few games.
