Before stepping into his current role as Warehouse Manager, Jesse Hannah was a tank wagon driver for Shortway. He’s been with the company for almost 15 years, and to this day, he appreciates his place of work and how well he’s treated by the company. As a tank wagon driver, he delivered heating oil and commercial fuels. These days he loads trucks to be shipped with bulk and packaged lubricants, unloads bulk oil and gets it into the bulk tanks.
Before his career at Shortway, Jesse did concrete work. “I used to drive two hours to get to my work,” he said, noting that he used to have to wake up between 2:30 and 4:00 a.m. Now just about 15 minutes from work, Jesse appreciates time with his family in his free time. He has two sons, who are 9 and 10, and he enjoys hunting and fishing.
